Lucas Ransom Dead: UCSB students killed in Shark Attack

Lucas Ransom, a 19-year old UCSB student was attacked and killed by a shark Friday morning boogie boarding Beach Surf base force Vandenberg Air.

According to the Sheriff of Santa Barbara, an Office, press release Lucas was in the water approximately 100 yards offshore from the beach at 0850 when a shark seemed suddenly and towed him underwater .Lucas suffered a massive left leg injury in the attack.
